The Colombia Calling podcast has been a labour of love since 2013 and I have not earned a penny from it, but my desire is for it to continue and as it becomes more time-consuming and popular, I am asking for a little help from all of our friends and listeners out there to keep Colombia Calling advancing and improving.
The award-winning podcast needs your support
In 2019, the Colombia Calling podcast passed the 300 episode mark and even won: “The Best English Language Podcast,” in that year’s Latin Podcast Awards. We want to keep on growing and improving, hence the Colombia Calling Patreon campaign.
About the Colombia Calling podcast
The Colombia Calling podcast is your first stop magazine-style podcast for everything you ever wanted to know about Colombia. Interviewing experts in the travel industry, dealing with security issues, deciphering the politics and explaining the cultural nuances of this newly fashionable destination, Colombia Calling is hosted by Anglo Canadian expat Richard McColl and broadcast on the Overseas Radio Network.
Who is the host of the Colombia Calling podcast?
Richard McColl is a seasoned journalist in Latin America and has appeared on a variety of news shows and been published in a diverse range of magazines and newspapers all over the world. He has edited and contributed to guidebooks and literature about Colombia and has worked as a political analyst in the region in addition to working on his PhD in Bogotá and working towards a novel or too!
So, please think about throwing a few dollars our way via the Colombia Calling Patreon campaign, and ensuring that we can improve our recording equipment, start collecting for a social project or two and put money towards publishing my book – working title – the Mompós Project.
And, of course, share this page to any potentially interested people in addition to tuning in to the Colombia Calling podcast every week. THANK YOU
